About The Studio

Aloha and welcome to The Root Cellar Studio, located in Kula, on the slopes of Haleakala, on the island of Maui, in Hawai'i. We provide a comfortable, supportive, and relaxed environment for the artist, giving space for their creativity and artistic flow. Our studio uses the latest Pro Tools HDX Ultimate software with (32) Channels of Apogee Symphony MKII Converters.
David has been mentored by Lynn Peterson, and studied with Andrew Scheps and Tchad Blake through the Mix with the Master's program at the Platinum Sound Recording Studios in NYC. One of his favorite aspects of providing a private recording studio, is the endless discovery of original music and recording techniques.
